In this trunk show, Tina will show 30+ quilts that exemplify the elements of modern quilting. See what the newest generation of quilters is creating and learn how you can join them!

Basics of Machine Quilting
This is a very basic class for anyone who would like to start quilting their own tops on a domestic machine. Tina will share her favorite tools, tips and tricks. Topics include basting, straight line quilting with a walking foot and free motion quilting designs.

Salvage Your Selvages!
Learn how to incorporate selvages in your next scrap quilt project. We’ll start by making a needle case to learn the technique, then piece a variety of blocks for an easy sampler table runner.

English Paper Piecing for Beginners
English Paper Piecing is growing in popularity once again as quilters embrace slow stitching. EPP is portable and offers a great opportunity for fussy cutting. Instruction will include printing your own templates, basting options, and hand stitching. Templates will be provided to get you started. Step beyond Grandmother’s Flower Garden with some interesting new designs.

Paper Pieced Lapel Pins (or Magnets)
Patterns will be provided for an assortment of tiny, machine-stitched paper pieced blocks suitable for beginner to advanced paper piecers. Instruction will include how to paper piece, tips and tricks, and how to complete a lapel pin or magnet.

BYOP (Bring Your Own Pattern), Advanced Paper-Piecing
We all have patterns in our stash that we purchased at shops or shows, only to realize we have no idea where to begin! Several methods for paper piecing will be demonstrated. Tina will assist each student in deciphering their patterns and will help get them started with the piecing. Tina will share 20 years worth of tips and tricks.
